Rapper Baby Cino killed in wild ambush as he left jail just two months after releasing haunting ‘dead at the scene’ song

AN ASPIRING rapper has been gunned down hours after being released from prison – and his drill music lyrics eerily foreshadowed his killing.

Timothy Starks, a 20-year-old rapper known as Baby Cino, was riding in his red Nissan when he was ambushed by a gunman in another vehicle in Miami on Wednesday.

The rapper was behind the wheel of the sedan when the shots rang out on Palmetto Expressway.

Passenger Dante Collins Banks, 20, who police said went to pick up Starks from jail, was shot in the abdomen.

Starks was pronounced dead on the scene after suffering a gunshot wound to the head, while Banks was transported to Jackson Memorial Hospital in stable condition.

The rapper’s death comes on the heels of his latest single Big Haiti Shootas, where he raps about violence and shooting his enemies.

“Spot ’em, I got ’em, If it’s an issue or a problem, we’ll pull up with them choppers, we’ll leave him dead on the scene, hell na he ain’t making it to the doctor.

“Watch his body fall like autumn. Yellow tape then helicopters, screaming there go his mom. Oh ma, that’s what you get when you playin’ ’round with them Big Haiti shootas,” he raps.

Starks’ lyrics came back to haunt him as police say the shooter fired at least 40 shots at the rapper’s vehicle.

Detectives have not identified a suspect but did say “a dark-colored vehicle was seen fleeing the area at a high rate of speed.”

Officials said the rapper was still wearing the wristband given to inmates at the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center.

Starks had been arrested in Opa-Locka, Florida, on Tuesday night.

According to an arrest report obtained by the Miami Herald, a detective pulled Starks over on Opa-Locka Boulevard for having an obstructed tag.

When he was stopped, he was moving “as if he was concealing an object consistent with the shape of a firearm,” the report said, per the outlet.

Officers searched the car and found a fully loaded Glock 32, the report said.
