Arsenal on-loan midfielder Lucas Torreira plays on after suffering broken tooth in Fiorentina’s clash with Inter Milan
LUCAS TORREIRA had quite the eventful 90 minutes while in action for Fiorentina on Saturday afternoon.
The Arsenal loanee scored a goal and lost a TOOTH in Fiorentina’s 1-1 draw at Inter Milan.

After taking a blow to the face at the San Siro, Football Italia claim Torreira calmly walked over to the Fiorentina physio to pass over his knocked-out pearly white.
The 26-year-old was pictured with a white swab in his mouth to ease the pain of losing one of his precious teeth.
When called in for doping tests after the game, Torreira showed off his gruesome injury as he posed for a Twitter selfie.

He was clearly in good spirits after the hard fought draw, captioning his post: “1 – #Antidoping .”
The point earned at the San Siro made it two goals scored and one tooth lost in Torreira’s last two games.
Torreira joined Italian outfit Fiorentina in the summer after spending last season at Atletico Madrid, with Mikel Arteta making it clear the Uruguayan was not part of his plans at the Emirates.
He’s impressed in his 25 league games for Fiorentina, contributing four goals.

Reports earlier this month suggested Fiorentina are so pleased with Torreira, they are keen to activate the £12.5million option to buy in his loan deal.
Transfer guru Fabrizio Romano also claimed the Gunners are ‘open’ to letting Torreira leave.
