Last season we beat played Swansea in our 39th game too, our record then was

This season

W10 D12 L17

One point better off and a goal difference 5 better than last season, however LB had just arrived and his bounce was to come. We need 11 points from the final 7 games to surpass last seasons 52 points.
It was more than likely his brief to keep us up this season (consolidate), which looks very likely, we are now in a comfort zone due to EFL points deductions but without these it’d be squeaky bum panic time, especially with Readings result today.

I don’t think we have progressed but we have still to dispose of the perennial journeyman in the team, and to take advantage of the promise shown by JJ and Gordon, and also to recruit this summer, hopefully in the same vein as the January window, so there’s a glimmer of hope for next season. But we all know by experience what hope does, especially at Blues.
