Bizarre optical illusion leaves viewers baffled as square columns appear to MOVE despite being a still image
A BIZARRE optical illusion has left viewers scratching their heads in confusion after columns appeared to move in a still image.
The bamboozling pic was uploaded to social media platform Reddit by a user who posts under the name Eatvaca.
Captioned “Drunk Pandas” the image shows eight green columns which look like bamboo sticks.
On first glance there is nothing special about these eight columns – but after you stare for a while you will realise that they start moving.
The dizzying illusion is aptly named as it gives the viewer the impression that they are indeed intoxicated.

One viewer was astounded that the post was an image and said: “Its not a gif right?”
Another couldn’t believe their eyes, saying: “What the f*** have you done you evil person, I have looked at this for 10 minutes now.”
“Why the hell is it moving” questioned a third.
