The English mixed martial artist thrust himself into title contention, leaving the Kiwi in limbo after his move back to the featherweight division.
The pair faced off on Saturday night at London’s O2 arena where the ‘Almighty’ unleashed a punishing combination on Hooker early doors.
The Auckland-born fighter struggled to keep up as Allen lashed powerful kicks and a stinging three-punch combo his way.

Allen kicked off the fight with a determined energy that Hooker wasn’t able to match.
Hooker looked badly hurt throughout the showdown but refused to go down, landing a few stings back.
A huge one-two put Hooker in retreat mode and he took a bout of serious shots before the ref put an end to the match.
Arnold Allen is now 9-0 in the UFC following a blitz of New Zealand’s Hooker.
The biggest win of the Almighty’s career, which will now see him lock horns with the elite of the featherweight division.
