Gamers fall in love after killing enemies together on Call of Duty
A PAIR of gamers 300 miles apart fell in love while playing Call of Duty.
Finlay Brown, 20, and Sophia Carlile, 19, bonded as they killed enemies while on the same team in the online war game.
The pair, separated by sea, finally met in person after six months and moved in together a year later.
Finlay said: “I knew I really liked her when we met gaming.
“She’s confident and funny, and goofy.
“As soon as we started talking my feelings got stronger and stronger.

“It wasn’t long at all before I knew I loved her.”
The couple ran into each other’s arms when they first met in person.
Finlay travelled from his parents’ house in Leeds to Limavady in Northern Ireland, for trainee barber Sophia’s 18th birthday in August 2020.
She recalled: “I was so nervous my heart was in my mouth and my legs were shaking, but as soon as we hugged it felt amazing.”
