[Women's Hockey] Warriors Punch Ticket to Title Game with Win over Minot State
MARYLAND HEIGHTS, Mo. – For the first time in program history, Midland University will be vying for a national championship in women's hockey. The Warriors earned their berth in the title game with a hard-fought victory over rival Minot State University on Saturday night, 4-3.
The opening period saw goals aplenty as each squad netted three. The teams alternated goals in the period with the Beavers breaking through first at the 3:40 mark. Rylee Martin evened things with a power-play goal at the 9:07 mark for the Warriors.
