Tumakuru accident: 40 passengers, including 3 victims, were seated on top of ill-fated bus

Three out of six passengers killed in the accident at Pavagada taluk in Tumakuru — Kalyan of YN Hosakote, Shahnawaz of Bestharahalli and Dadavali alias Dadu of Neelammanahalli — were sitting on top of the bus with at least 37 more people. Most of the injured were travelling on top of the vehicle, sources said.
