Apartment building fire on Morris Street, Albany
ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) - Members of the Albany Permanent Professional Firefighters Association confirmed Sunday that they are working on the scene of an apartment building fire at 357 Morris Street in Albany. According to fire officials, the flames were first visible from the basement and spread upwards into the first floor of the building. Fire crews were called to the scene around 5:30 a.m.
As of 6:05 a.m., the fire had been knocked down to a point where flames were no longer visible. Fire officials said the entire building has been evacuated, which included all 31 apartments.
