0

To celebrate the LGBTQI+ community and Pride Month, this June brings Marvel's Voices: Pride to comic fans everywhere. The giant-sized one-shot will be a collection of wide-ranging stories in Marvel's Universe, not to mention reuniting the Young Avengers.

Marvel Voices: Pride is in its second year of showcasing LGBTQI+ talent and featuring some of the most powerful forces for change and justice in the Marvel Universe. And the talent being assembled behind these stories is just as impressive.

Charlie Jane Anders, writer of The War of the Realms: War Scrolls and New York Times-bestselling, multi-award-winning author will continue on in the tradition of Steve Orlando and Luciano Vecchio, debuting a new character to the pages of Marvel comics. Christopher Cantwell, Andrew Wheeler, Patsy Walker, and Alyssa Wong (who will be reuniting the Young Avengers) will also be lending their talents to this annual anthology series, just to name a few. Along with other seasoned comic book storytellers, television writer and podcaster, Ira Madison III will be making his debut in Marvel's Voices: Pride.

To get comic book fans ready for the huge June release, Marvel is also announcing Marvel's Voices: Pride in trade paperback, hitting stores and digital in May 2022. It will collect the Marvel's Voices: Pride one-shot from 2021 as well as pivotal moments throughout Marvel Comics history like the debut of Captain America Aaron Fischer in The United States of Captain America. The variant cover for Marvel's Voices: Pride #1 featuring some of the most powerful characters in the Marvel Universe will come from Wonder Twins superstar artist, Stephen Byrne, and can be seen below.

New voices and stories will be added to the Marvel canon by the middle of 2022. Look out for stories by Shuster and Eisner-winning writer Andrew Wheeler as he makes his entrance to the Marvel Universe telling a Herculean tale about - Hercules. Writer Grace Freud (Rick and Morty, The Eric Andre Show) and Eisner-nominated artist Scott B. Henderson will be adding their voice and art to Marvel's Voices: Pride #1 with a story about D-Man.

Marvel's Voices proudly displays the importance of telling these human and god-like stories in the Marvel Universe. The anthology, Marvel Voices: Pride #1 hits stores and digital on June 15, 2022.
