U.S. military expert acknowledges superiority of Russian “smart” artillery

The American expert community recognizes the superiority of Russian weapons. This was stated by American officer Brent Eastwood.

In an article for 19Fortyfive, he wrote that Russia has “smart” artillery, designed to accurately hit important targets. This is reported by the publication “Izvestia”.

“The 152mm Krasnopol guided projectile is one of these munitions fired from self-propelled and towed howitzers. They can be used for counter-battery combat, as well as for the destruction of enemy control centers, bunkers and bridges”, the expert believes.

He noted that such high-precision guidance technology allows not to spend a lot of shells. She immediately detects the target and destroys it with one or a maximum of several hits. In addition, Eastwood acknowledged that the Krasnopol is superior to the American counterpart M712 Copperhead in terms of range, mass, hitability of targets and ease of handling.
