Aldi slashes price of rattan garden furniture set ahead of heatwave
ALDI has slashed the price of a rattan garden furniture set ahead of a spring heatwave.
The budget supermarket has knocked money off the price of the bamboo-style table and chairs set as temperatures are set to soar.
Brits will bask in temperatures of up to 17C on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday next week.
If you’re planning on spending some time in the garden, you can snap up a bargain with Aldi’s Specialbuys.
The Gardenline bamboo style rattan balcony set is now £169.99, down from £189.99 – a £20 discount.
But make sure you compare prices before making a purchase, and don’t buy something just because it’s in the sale.
We found a similar set on sale at Argos for £100, although stock is limited as it’s in the clearance section.
The Range is also selling rattan-effect furniture for £149.99.
The Aldi furniture set includes one-glass topped side table and two chairs, which are rust, weather and UV resistant.
It’s only available online so you won’t be able to pick up the furniture at your local Aldi store.

That means you’ll have to pay for home delivery costs, which will set you back £3.95.
Make sure you factor that charge into the overall price.
The supermarket’s summer garden range also includes a rattan sofa, which has sold out in previous years.

A cream version is on sale this year, and it’s less than £300.
If Aldi’s popular egg chairs are anything to go by, the range could fly off the shelves.
