AC Valhalla: Dawn of Ragnarok - How to Get Odin’s Armor Set
The All-Father Armor, also known as Odin's Armor, is a brand new set of gear in Assassin's Creed Valhalla that can be obtained through the Dawn of Ragnarok DLC. One of the unique features of this particular set of armor is that it's the only set that can be purchased through in-game currency, meaning players won't have to scavenge around Svartalfheim in order to find all five pieces. Additionally, Odin's Armor has a couple of unique perks that turn the All-Father into a powerhouse by exploiting his enemies' weaknesses.
Whenever players have any two pieces of the Odin Armor set equipped, they'll gain a perk that has a 50% chance to activate an increase in Adrenaline Gain by 2x-3x whenever the All-Father lands a headshot or attacks a weak point. This Dawn of Ragnarok armor set is perfect for players who prefer to play a bit more with bows and engage in ranged combat over a close-quarters approach. Additionally, wearing the whole set will increase all headshot damage by 25% consistently.
The only way to get the All-Father Armor in Assassin's Creed Valhalla: Dawn of Ragnarok is by completing the Valkyrie Trials in Kara's Domain through the Heroic Scholar's quest. Kara is a Valkyrie herself, and she runs the fighting arena that can be accessed at any point during the new expansion. Her domain is located on the western landmass of the Svaladal region, specifically in the southeast corner of the landmass. Kara's Domain is a bit tricky to reach in the mountainside, so players may find it best to use Odin's raven power in Dawn of Ragnarok to reach her location. Afterward, players can fast travel to the arena from any point on the map.
Each piece of the All-Father Armor set costs 1,200 Tokens of Kara, which can be earned by completing the Valkyrie Trials. By applying up to four Boasts, players can increase the difficulty of the trials and earn a larger reward upon their completion. Applying more than four Boasts won't yield a larger reward, so it's best to stick to four at a time. New Boasts can be unlocked by completing Heroic Sagas throughout Svartalfheim, and with four applied, players can earn enough Tokens to purchase all five armor pieces after four completions.
The Assassin's Creed Valhalla: Dawn of Ragnarok DLC also allows players to upgrade their armor further from Mythical quality to a new Divine tier. All five pieces of the armor will already be at the Mythical tier when they are purchased and can be further upgraded at a blacksmith through the use of the new platinum ingot.
Assassin's Creed Valhalla is available on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S.
