Elden Ring: Albinauric Rise Puzzle Solution (Graven-Mass Talisman)
The Graven-Mass Talisman in Elden Ring is an upgraded version of the Graven-School Talisman stored within the Albinauric Rise tower. It raises the potency of Sorceries by 8% instead of the Graven-School's 4%. These buffs are able to be stacked, meaning Tarnished mages can equip both Talismans to receive a 12% to all Sorcery Spells. Such an increase in power makes the Graven-Mass Talisman a must-have for sorcerers in Elden Ring.
As mentioned above, the location of the Graven-Mass Talisman is Albinauric Rise, a tower on the eastern side of the Consecrated Snowfield, the sub-region that serves as the western half of the Mountaintops of the Giants. To reach the Consecrated Snowfield, Tarnished must first have access to the secret passageway of the Grand Lift of Rold known as the Hidden Path to the Haligtree. This route becomes available once adventurers have collected the two sides of the Haligtree Secret Medallion. This endeavor can be done during Latenna's questline or independently as a means to reach Albinauric Rise.
The first half of the Haligtree Secret Medallion is held by Albus in the Village of the Albinaurics. He is disguised as a pot atop a hill and will give the protagonist the medallion piece after they dispel his guise and speak with him. The left half is located in Castle Sol on the far northern side of the East Mountaintops of the Giants. Defeat the Dungeon's Boss to complete the Haligtree Secret Medallion and enter the Consecrated Snowfield. From the area's first Site of Grace, travel northeast, past the Consecrated Snowfield Catacombs to arrive at Albinauric Rise. The next step is to solve the tower's puzzle to get Graven-Mass Talisman.
To solve Albinauric Rise's puzzle and ascend its spire in Elden Ring, Tarnished must examine the prominent statue nearby. Adventurers can recognize the figures as two Imps fighting with each other. This hint is the key to entering Albinauric Rise in Elden Ring. Accordingly, there are two solutions to this riddle. First, players can use the Fanged Imp Ashes and summon two Imps to slay one of the enemy Imps patrolling the tower. Alternatively, Tarnished can use a Bewitching Branch on one of the mobs outside to have it kill another Imp, which also breaks the seal of Albinauric Rise.
The Fanged Imp Ashes can be purchased from the Isolated Merchant at Raya Lucaria Academy for 2,000 Runes. To find him, fast travel to the Site of Grace at the Main Academy Gate. Go past the Portal to South Gate and continue down the road to encounter the merchant. As for the Bewitching Branch, Tarnished can purchase 5 of them from the Nomadic Merchant in North Liurnia. He can be found past the hole in the ground within Bellum Church. Employ either of these two methods in front of Albinauric Rise to dispel the entryway's barrier and acquire the Graven-Mass Talisman.
