However, later on he was ridiculed for feigning injury during a heated incident at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
When Spurs won a corner and the players were getting ready in the box, West Ham defender Kurt Zouma innocuously kicked the ball towards the corner flag.
The ball struck Son, who for some reason decided to collapse to the ground writhing in agony.

His reaction caused a melee in the box as players overreacted.
After Anthony Taylor calmed down both sets of players, we were back underway.
But online, fans were never going to allow Son to get away with his blatant play-acting.
One joked it was a “career-ending kick there for son”.
Another wrote on Twitter: “Even I wouldn’t go down like that Son Heung Min wtf?”
While, a third disgruntled fan posted: “That is really really poor from Son Heung Min. The ball barely he touched him and he has gone over. Thought he was better than that.”
