I turned three Ikea bookshelves into a stunning storage bed for my daughter, and it’s got a secret reading room too
IT CAN be hard to find enough storage for the piles of toys and books that kids have.
This clever mum shared how she manged to clear up the mess and create an amazing bed that even has a hidden reading nook for her daughter.
Showing her clever hack on TikTok, the mum used three basic Ikea bookshelves to form the base of the bed.
Positioning the shelves in a U shape to leave space to enter the underneath den at the foot of the bed, the hack looked amazing.
On top of the eight cube shelves the DIY-er put a large piece of plywood so the mattress could sit comfortably.
