Chris Hemsworth Shares Cute Photo Of His Sons Dressed As Thor
Thor actor Chris Hemsworth shares a cute photo of his sons dressed channeling the God of Thunder. Hemsworth made his godly debut in 2011’s Thor and has been a part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe for over a decade. He can be seen next in Taika Waititi’s follow-up to Thor: Ragnarok (2017), Thor: Love and Thunder, which releases in theaters this summer.
After becoming a founding member of the Avengers, Hemsworth went on to appear in the remaining Avengers movies, including Avengers: Age of Ultron (2015), Avengers: Infinity War (2018), and Avengers: Endgame (2019)—the latter of which ends with Thor catching a lift aboard the Benatar with Star-Lord, Drax, Mantis, Rocket, Groot, and Nebula. Continuing the Thor franchise, Hemsworth will now become the first Marvel actor to receive a fourth solo movie, outlasting his fellow Phase One Avengers like Steve Rogers/Captain America (Chris Evans) and Tony Stark/Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.).
Hemsworth recently took to Instagram to share a cute photo of a couple of Gods of Thunder. Hemsworth and his wife Elsa Pataky (The Fast Saga) share a daughter and twin boys, who turned eight Sunday. In celebration of their birthday, Hemsworth shared a photo of them wielding hammers that are definitely not Mjolnir. Check it out below:

Hemsworth has previously joked one of his sons wants to be Superman when he grows up. While the future of that character in the DC Extended Universe remains in flux, Thor prepares to pass his mantle to Jane Foster (Natalie Portman) in Thor: Love and Thunder. The film will feature the return of the “Asgardians of the Galaxy,” Valkyrie (Tessa Thompson), Lady Sif (Jamie Alexander), and introduce a new villain in Gorr the God Butcher (Christian Bale). Russell Crowe also revealed last year that he will appear in the film as the Greek god Zeus.
Writer/director Waititi famously reinvigorated the Thor franchise with Thor: Ragnarok and his signature sense of humor. Not only will his Korg surely bring the laughter, but Waititi and the rest of the cast have teased Thor: Love and Thunder as one of the craziest films they’ve ever done. The project could be Hemsworth’s last outing as Thor in the MCU. Thankfully, Hemsworth belongs to a family of performers—which includes brother Liam and Luke Hemsworth—and the above photo makes an adorable case for the casting of two future superheroes. Thor: Love and Thunder releases in theaters on July 8th release date and fans should expect the first trailer sooner rather than later.
