EastEnders spoilers: Bernie Taylor makes a shock decision after giving birth to Stuart and Rainie’s baby
BERNIE Taylor comes back to Walford next week as she prepares to give birth to Rainie and Stuart Highway’s baby.
But following the happy event, the young mother makes a shocking decision in EastEnders.
Portrayed by Clair Norris, Bernie hasn’t been seen in Albert Square since October, 2021, but she will soon be reuniting with Stuart (Ricky Champ) and his wife Rainie (Tanya Franks).
BBC One viewers may remembers that the trio made a surrogacy agreement last year and Bernie is currently pregnant with their baby.
Yet when she became suspicious Rainie could be using drugs again, Bernie decided to take some time away.
As Stuart refuses any treatment for his cancer, could Bernie really go through with the surrogacy?

In upcoming scenes of the long-running drama, Rainie knows that there is a chance she might not and, worrying she has given birth already, pesters Karen Taylor (Lorraine Stanley) about her daughter’s whereabouts.
Fortunately, a heavily pregnant Bernie soon arrives, declaring she still plans to give them the baby on the one condition that they give her the rest of the money as soon as the baby is born.
Bernie spots Stuart’s supplements, his holistic approach of his cancer, but him and Rainie begin to cover.
But Bernie is told the truth about Stuart’s cancer by Sonia Fowler (Natalie Cassidy) and marches back to them to confront them – until her waters break.

She goes into labour and Rainie lies to her, claiming Stuart is beating his cancer.
The baby boy is born, leaving Rainie and Stuart over the moon.
Bernie is then convinced that the right decision has been made and agrees to let them have the baby.
However, things could take yet another turn.
When they find themselves alone, Rainie confesses that Stuart is actually refusing treatment for his cancer, unwilling to keep Bernadette’s baby on a lie.
How will Bernie react?
Will she backtrack of the surrogacy agreement?
Can she convince Stuart to seek treatment for his cancer?
