Naked Attraction takes shocking turn as ‘overwhelmed’ contestant bursts into tears
NAKED Attraction took a shocking turn after an ‘overwhelmed’ contestant burst into tears.
Tuesday night saw a highlights episode of the hit dating show air on Channel 4, looking back at some of the relationship successes.
The final couple to feature were Gemma and James, with Gemma choosing the Essex lad over the other contestants in an episode which first aired in 2017.
After sparks flew on their first date, the pair sat down for the cameras six weeks later and revealed they were happily dating and even booked their first holiday together.
Gemma, a mother-of-two, then grew emotional as she admitted how “overwhelmed” she felt at having met such a lovely guy and how nice it was to “have someone to text and ask if I’m OK.”
Covering her face with her hands, James leaned in and gave her a cuddle, telling her she was beautiful and he was in for the long haul.

Another added: “#Nakedattraction gives me way too much joy.”
The relationship continued to flourish and in 2020 they told the show they were still together and talking about marriage.
She said: “I’ve found my match, I really have – well, I’ve met my match.

“When I applied I didn’t expect to find someone that I would want to marry and settle down with. He’s my soulmate.”
As for her two daughters, she said: “They’ve got a little nickname for James, they call him Bedtime Boy.
“He loves to read them stories at bedtime, he does the best voices and he’s always in character.”
James added: “It’s good with me and Gemma, we don’t live together yet, we haven’t been able to argue enough for one side or the other, over whether I should move down there or she should move up here.
“I’m sure she’ll win one day but I’m going to fight it until then.”
Naked Attraction airs on Channel 4 and is available on All 4.
