Pfizer recalls Accuretic, a generic drug, due to presence of nitrosamine that causes cancer

After discovering nitrosamine impurities, Pfizer has recalled the blood pressure drug Accuretic, among others. Studies have linked nitrosamine to a variety of cancers after repeated exposure to high levels for long periods of time.
