Elden Ring Ranni Cosplay Comes Complete With Extra Hands

0

A magical Elden Ring cosplay brings Ranni the Witch to life, complete with her extra set of hands. FromSoftware's open-world epic features many memorable non-player characters associated with their own unique questlines. Fan creations, like Malenia's winged helmet from Elden Ring, allow dedicated fans to cosplay as these beloved FromSoftware figures.

Among Elden Ring's huge roster of non-player characters, Ranni the Witch may be among the most mysterious. The supernatural figure first appears to give players the Spirit Calling Bell, allowing them to use the game's powerful Spirit Ashes, but the player is not properly introduced to her until they enter Liurnia's Three Sisters area. Upon meeting her in Ranni's Rise, Elden Ring players are given the opportunity to pledge allegiance to the witch and serve her throughout the rest of the game. Her questline is one of the longest and most involved in the game, and some claim that Elden Ring mistranslated the Ranni quest to make her goals seem more evil than intended.

Perfectly capturing the character's mysticism and power, Reddit user bitsyhanas has created an excellent Elden Ring cosplay of Ranni. The cosplayer has authentically brought the character's signature attire to life, complete with her massive witch hat and fur cloak. Ranni's blue complexion and hair is also flawlessly captured by bitsyhanas, though her extra set of arms is perhaps the most impressive part of the cosplay. Through the convincing use of Photoshop, bitsyhanas is given two extra appendages in order to properly reflect Ranni's four blue arms.

FromSoftware spared no detail while designing Elden Ring characters and armor sets, and cosplay helps bring those figures to life. For example, a cosplay of Elden Ring's Bloody Wolf turns the intimidating class' signature armor into a breathtaking physical prop. The Bloody Wolf was included as a starting class for the fantasy epic's closed network test, though this class is not present in the final game. The Raging Wolf armor set is still present, thankfully, but it must be found by players in The Lands Between before they can actually use it.

Ranni the Witch is an elusive and inhuman Elden Ring NPC, but bitsyhanas has managed to accurately transform into the supernatural figure through dedication and creative. Ranni's clothing and complexion are brought to life practically, while her two extra arms are recreated using impressive Photoshop skills. Combining physical cosplay and digital trickery, Elden Ring's ghostly witch is ready to recruit any Tarnished into her service.
