US Gen Z mobile banking user stats (2020-2025)

The number of Gen Z mobile-phone banking users is nearly as high as the number of digital banking users. This indicates the vast majority of digital bankers are using their mobile phones for banking at least some of the time. 

The number of Gen Zers who use digital-only banks without physical branches is expected to grow steadily between 2021 to 2025. In fact, by 2025, there will be 45.4 million Gen Z digital banking users in the US, up from 27.1 million this year.
