USE THE LAUNDRY BASKET TRICK

The laundry basket trick is an easy way to declutter your home.

Simply place a basket in the messiest part of your home, then toss in any items that don’t belong.

Place the laundry basket out of sight until you’re ready to put the items away.

STRAIGHTEN THROW PILLOWS

For an instant refresh in any room that has pillows, simply fluff them up.

Take just a few seconds to give your throw pillows a hug or chop, and your room will quickly become elevated.

SMOOTH THE BEDDING

While you’re fluffing up the pillows in your bedrooms, take a few extra seconds to smooth out any wrinkles on the bed.

Smoothed-out bedding will instantly give the appearance of a polished room.

EVEN OUT YOUR BLINDS

To give your windows that freshly-cleaned look, make sure all of your blinds are pulled at the same height and angle.

Neatly arranged window treatments are a sure way to make your home look put together.

ARRANGE CHAIRS AROUND TABLES

While this tip may sound a bit self-explanatory, sometimes people don’t think about pushing in their chairs after getting up from the table.

Simply push in chairs around tables so that they are all equally distanced apart, and your dining space will instantly be refreshed.

HANG TOWELS NEATLY

Typically, hand towels are the first thing to go askew in a bathroom, so you should pay special attention to them if you want to make your home look clean.

Take a few seconds to ensure the towels are hung straight and centered on the rung.

For an extra touch in the bathroom, straighten out any bathmats.

ORGANIZE COUNTERTOPS

Lastly, take a minute or two to straighten up any items on your countertops, such as papers, toothbrushes, handsoaps, etc.
