Oscar Isaac Meets a Mini Moon Knight at Marvel Premiere in Sweet New Photo
Oscar Isaac meets a mini Moon Knight in an adorable new photo taken at the recent Marvel premiere. Now just a week away from its release, Moon Knight is Marvel's latest Disney+ series that will see Isaac make his official MCU debut. Set to star as both Marc Spector and Steven Grant, Isaac will take on the lead role as the former CIA agent who suffers from dissociative identity disorder. The series also welcomes Ethan Hawke and May Calamawy to the MCU, as Arthur Harrow and Layla El-Faouly, respectively.
Moon Knight looks set to be Marvel's darkest project to date, with Isaac having previously revealed that while the show takes place within the current MCU timeline, this will not impact the overall story of the series. While the show's plot has remained shrouded in mystery, audiences can expect the series to follow Isaac's character who, after making a deal with the Egyptian god, Khonshu, is granted super-powers that enable him to transform into the white-cloaked vigilante known as Moon Knight. Recent teasers have offered exciting glimpses at Spector's various appearances throughout the series, including his Mister Knight costume, as well as his full transformation into his Moon Knight costume, giving him a somewhat mummified appearance.
Now, Isaac has had the pleasure of meeting one young fan who has perfectly recreated Moon Knight's intricate costume. Taking place at the recent Moon Knight premiere in LA, a young Marvel fan named Logan Winter got the chance to meet Isaac on the red carpet and take an adorable photo with him. Shared by Marvel, the sweet photo shows Isaac looking incredibly excited to meet his mini double. The photo immediately garnered lots of attention, with many sharing their praise for Winter's impressive costume. Check out the photos below.
Moon Knight's unique costuming has spawned a number of recreations over recent months, with another young fan recently recreating the Mister Knight iteration of Spector's costume, which sees him don a rather dapper bright white suit. Moon Knight's costume had been a big topic prior to the release of any official imagery from the show, with many hoping that the series would make Isaac's costume as comic-accurate as possible, with very few disappointed with the final result. Marvel's characters are often amongst the more commonly cosplayed characters, given the intricacy and detail that goes into creating these iconic costumes, ready for the big (or small) screen.
With Moon Knight set to mark somewhat of a tonal shift for the Marvel cinematic universe, audiences cannot wait to see what the highly anticipated six-episode series has in store. Isaac has expressed his excitement for his character's upcoming debut on multiple occasions and interactions such as this can only make the experience all the more sweeter for the star as he gets to witness the impact his character first hand. As for now, there isn't long to go until audiences get to see Isaac in action as Moon Knight officially hits Disney+ on March 30.
