I saw my ex’s search history and discovered he’s fetishizing me in a disturbing way – but at least I’m on his mind
AFTER a breakup, it’s a healthy choice put your ex out of your mind, and that’s exactly what one newly-single woman tried to do.
But her plans went awry when she stumbled upon her ex’s Google search history after they broke up, and learned she was very much at the front of his mind.
In a TikTok video, the woman, whose identity The Sun has chosen to protect, shared the story of her unexpected discovery.
“I wish I could unsee this,” she captioned the clip.
While using her phone one day, she realized her browser had someone else’s Google account logged in.
Navigating to the user page to see the username revealed it was her ex-boyfriend’s account – and displayed his startling search history.
Screenshots reportedly showed the man’s recent searches, which included “Indian Porn,” “Sri Lankan Porn,” and “potbelly girl porn.”
One upsetting entry even showed a search for “fat curry girls.” In a comment, the woman specified that her background is Malaysian and Sri Lankan, and confirmed her ex was caucasian.
The creator behind the TikTok claimed that all the search terms were inspired by her, grabbing her belly and lip-syncing along to an audio clip that said, “so, you’re still thinking of me.”
In the comment section, viewers were horrified by the search terms, which many believed objectified the woman.

“Fetishizing is a real issue,” wrote a commenter.
“You dodged a massive bullet,” wrote another.
“Thank you! I so did! I was so devastated when he left, but thank god,” the creator wrote back.
Others criticized the woman for “snooping” and said she was overstepping boundaries by looking at the searches.
“This is such an invasion of privacy….tell me how you did it,” joked one viewer.
But the woman behind the video was quick to point out that she never went looking for her ex’s online presence – she discovered his account on her device and made sure to log out once she realized what had happened.
“He logged in before and didn’t log out. I never realized as I didn’t use Gmail,” she explained.
The “secret” behind her big hack wasn’t a technical marvel at all. “It’s just Google activity!” the creator insisted.

Even though her ex was apparently still hung up on her, the woman said she was happy that he was out of her life for good.
“I’m embarrassed that I dated him,” she admitted.
