Sister Wives: Why Fans Think Robyn's A COVID-19 Fearmonger
Robyn Brown from Sister Wives is being accused of using fear tactics toward her family when she discusses the worldwide pandemic and the implications of COVID-19. As fans know, Kody Brown set up some strict rules for his family and spent most of his time self-isolating with Robyn. The family's anger and fear became so bad that Robyn actually became the scapegoat, even if it's unclear whether that was her intention.
The father of 18 made the tough call at the beginning of the pandemic to try and keep his family safe by implementing a strict set of guidelines. Between the fear of the unknown and lack of leadership from the government, Kody begged his four wives to stay at home and hunker down. While only two listened - Meri and Robyn - fans couldn't help but feel that Robyn had a big say in Kody choosing to live at her house. Sister Wives viewers quickly noticed that Robyn had a lot to say about the COVID-19 virus and may have been turning Kody's head.
It makes sense as to why Sister Wives fans would feel that Robyn fearmongered her family. When the pandemic hit at the beginning of 2020, Robyn immediately showed her concern. Overall, the Browns were lacking communication with fans, recalling that Janelle called a family meeting. Robyn was able to manipulate her family thanks to the physical distance between each wife as none of them lived close to one another. Due to Robyn following the rules, Kody lived with her for nine months, ultimately starting over in a monogamous relationship.
Fans started to theorize that Robyn was so fearful of becoming ill that Kody went along with the rules in order to keep his ever-drifting family apart. At one point in the pandemic, however, Paedon Brown revealed that his father wasn't even vaccinated. This stood out as a red flag in fans' eyes who immediately felt that Kody and Robyn's fear tactics were all about getting to spend time alone. At the reunion, Kody didn't seem apologetic for how he handled the pandemic, and neither did Robyn. In fact, both looked happy to be next to each other.
During the time Kody was staying away from his large family during COVID-19, his older children started to blame Robyn for their family being torn apart. The feud became so ugly that Kody isn't even on speaking terms with three of his sons. Overall, Sister Wives viewers wouldn't be surprised if Robyn was actually playing the long con.
