90 Day Fiancé: David Murphey Shares Heartbreaking News About Mothra
David Murphey posted a video informing 90 Day Fiancé fans that his pet cat Mothra has died. The 63-year-old reality star was last featured on 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days season 4 with Lana. While most fans expected Ukrainian native Lana to be fake, she did turn out to be real. Still, the couple couldn't make their relationship work. Lately, David has been hanging out with another 90 Day Fiancé star, Amira Lollysa and posting lovey-dovey pictures with her on Instagram. Although David claims that he is single, fans are convinced that he is now dating Amira.
Aside from Amira, David also likes to spend a lot of his time with his pet cats. 90 Day Fiancé fans may remember his cute cats Mothra and Gamera from his time on the show as they were featured in various scenes throughout his season. The last time the retired reality star posted about Mothra was back in April 2020. He shared a cute picture of her and cracked a joke about Lana in the caption. 90 Day Fiancé viewers loved watching David and his cats' segments, and they enjoyed knowing all the latest updates about Mothra and Gamera.
Former systems programmer David recently shared the sad news about his lovely cat Mothra on Instagram. He posted a two-minute video and captioned it, "RIP Mothra. I will miss you forever. Thank you for 17 wonderful years." In the clip, a visibly devastated David talks to his friends and fans and shares how he lost his beloved cat. He revealed that Mothra had been struggling with health issues for the last few months and sadly succumbed to her illness in the early morning of March 22, 2022. David talked about Mothra's sister and revealed that he was surprised Gamera outlasted her.
The former 90 Day Fiancé cast member shared that Gamera has various health issues and cannot hear anymore. Many fans and TLC stars have shared their condolences on David's post. David Toborowsky wrote, "So sorry for your loss." Stephanie Matto and Larissa Lima shared their sympathy as well. 90 Day Fiancé viewers shared their personal stories to support and console David.
