Which Disney Animal Are You, Based On Your Chinese Zodiac Sign?

Ever since Disney has been producing content, animals have been a huge part of the franchise. Whether the main character has an animal companion or they are the main characters, they're always a big focus on the screen in a Disney piece.

With all of the characters that get assigned an animal companion, the animal usually compliments their partner, if not also providing another layer to the overall story. While some companions add a level of humor, others add a level of loyalty, and with each animal, there is a Chinese zodiac sign that aligns perfectly with them.

Meeko is the lone raccoon that enters into Pocahontas' life in the beloved Disney film Pocahontas. While at first he may be seen as annoying, and fans panicked when he almost gave away Pocahantos' location, he eventually became loved dearly.

Being a raccoon, he is very quick to make decisions and often uses this ability to help himself and sometimes his friends (Percy and Flit) too, and this is a display of having the personality of being born in the year of the Rat. His relationship going from enemies to friends with Percy, specifically, shows his true charm.

Disney's Toy Story 2 introduces a handful of new characters to the memorable gang, and many of them have iconic quotes that match their personality, but Bullseye is one of the few that doesn't say anything. Still,  he has many qualities of people who are born in the year of the Ox.

Bullseye always seems to be doing the most to help out Woody and the gang in all of their adventures. From when he and Woody worked side-by-side on the show, to their adventures of getting back to Andy, Bullseye is the best at following orders, and always being where he is needed. He is dependable, determined and his strength is especially seen at the end of the movie when he carries Buzz Lightyear, Jessie, and Woody on his back all at once without showing any strain.

One of the most iconic animal companions is Aladdin's monkey Abu. Abu makes his presence in the movie very well-known by always causing some sort of scene when he gets the chance.

Abu is incredibly loyal to Aladdin and his actions are typically on the bolder side, like when he steals the gems in the Cave of Wonders and when he sasses the palace guards. These are both qualities of people who are born in the year of Tiger. He often thinks with his emotions and can get very jealous which is evident when Aladdin spends more time with Jasmine than him and starts to forget his roots.

In Disney's Tangled, Rapunzel gets a little animal companion that is a chameleon named Pascal. Pascal embodies the personality of a person born in the year of a Rabbit so well. He is quiet and often blends into the background (both literally and metaphorically).

For a little chameleon though, he is also very kind to everyone he meets that Rapunzel also seems to trust, and there were even a handful of times that he proved to be a very helpful companion, giving him all the qualities of a person born in the year of the Rabbit.

Aladdin has quite a few animal companions, and another one is Jasmine's tiger, Rajah. Being a tiger, people may automatically assume that he is a scary and dangerous companion, but Rajah is anything but that.

His big and scary cat appearance gives him the charisma that a lot of people who are born in the year of the Dragon have. He really embodies many of the qualities that come with being born in the year of the Dragon. Rajah works hard to protect Jasmine, which he does a good job of, as well as being incredibly trustworthy, honest, and loyal.

Of all the animal companions in the Disney franchise, there are only a very select few that seem to truly embody the qualities of someone born in the year of the Snake. Mulan's horse, Khan is one of those few.

While Khan isn't necessarily the first animal fans would think of when thinking of the year of the snake, he fills many of the requirements of the year. He is shown to be a smart horse that can make his own decisions and is often rather calm in situations that should cause him to panic. Khan also stands to sass and not take any of Mushu's iconic quotes, even when they disrespect him personally.

Besides being the obvious choice, Pegasus from Disney's Hercules perfectly lines up as the best animal companion to fit the personality of being born in the year of the horse.

His animated personality, combined with his silly side and his dramatics make him one of the most memorable and energetic Disney characters. His sense of adventure and travel, on top of his loyalty to both Hercules, and eventually Meg, show his true connection to the year of the Horse.

Like some other Disney characters, Moana is a Disney character that has more than one animal companion. Pua, her pig, is a stark contrast to her other animal Hei Hei. It is Pua who has many traits that fit with being born in the year of the Sheep.

Sheep are often calm and gentle, which Pua is seen to be, especially next to Hei Hei. Pua is typically found by Moana's side, loyal but also helps get things done quietly. This little pig seems to have a lot more potential than what is shown, but it is obvious that Pua's Sheep-like personality may get shown more in the upcoming Disney+ show.

When Dante was first introduced in Coco he seemed to be just a stray dog that kept showing up in Miguel's life. It wasn't until he traveled to the Land of the Dead that it was apparent that Dante was much more than just a stray dog.

His outgoing social skills and his constant curiosity point to him being born in the year of the Monkey. Although he is a dog, he seems to be one that is very malleable and floppy, not to mention his change into an alebrije, which matches perfectly with the trait of being flexible which is another trait of the Monkey.

Max may not get a lot of time to shine in The Little Mermaid, but he doesn't need it to show how perfect of a companion he is for Eric. Seeing as he is a dog who works on a ship, he must stay vigilant and alert Eric and the crew if he sees something that could be dangerous.

He is also a very hard worker in everything he does, from trying to catch Sebastian to trying to save Eric. He constantly shows off his traits that match with those that are born in the year of the Rooster.

There are many things that fans can miss in Frozen 2, but Bruni is not one of them. Bruni is a salamander that is also the Fire Spirit. The little salamander perfectly embodies the spirit of those born in the year of the dog for a variety of reasons.

For one, when he first runs into Elsa and Anna he is very shy and nervous, but he eventually warms up to them once he sees that they mean him no harm. Bruni is also found to be genuine and persistent which are two more outstanding qualities of Dogs.

Little Brother is yet another character that doesn't get a ton of screen time, but it's not needed for fans to make the connection that he has the personality of someone born in the year of the Pig.

He is very helpful, at least when Mulan finds a way to trick him to be. It's truly the large amount of energy he is seen to have and his enthusiasm that makes him the perfect fit for being someone born in the year of the Pig.
