The 2022 NFL offseason has been busy. A stacked group of free agents has often been pushed from the spotlight as superstars angle for trades across the league. In a 15-day span, Russell Wilson, Matt Ryan, Davante Adams, and Tyreek Hill were all dealt for draft considerations. Somewhere in the middle of all that, Tom Brady decided he wasn’t done playing football just yet.

The league’s open market churned in the background with a combination of splashy signings — $72 million for Christian Kirk! — and smaller depth-building moves.
