Denise Van Outen shows off new £35k car after split with Eddie Boxshall
DENISE Van Outen has shown off her new £35,000 car as she treats herself after her split with Eddie Boxshall.
The TV presenter took to Instagram with a snap of the swanky electric motor, gushing it was “fabulous”.
It hasn’t been an easy few months for Denise, 47, after she threw out ex fiance Eddie, 48, for sexting other women behind her back.
Now, the star looks to have been treated to a new car as she told her fans she had been “gifted” a Citroen EC4, worth £35k.
Filming herself from the driver’s seat, Denise told her Instagram fans: “I have been wanting to go electric for a while.
“I’ve decided to take the plunge and give this Citroen a try and I am loving it. It’s so smooth and comfortable and it’s just such a nice car.”
She went on to post a snap of the orange motor outside her home, as well as a selfie of her pretending to drive the car.
Denise filmed the moment she picked up daughter Betsy, 11, from school in the car – who enthusiastically told her mum she “loves it”.

It comes after Denise opened up about the moment she found her love rat partner Eddie was covering his tracks as he cheated on her.
The TV favourite was told her fiancé had gone on her phone to block a woman from contacting her on Instagram in a bid to keep their relationship secret.
She went on to learn he had been doing the same with another woman too, even while they were planning their wedding.
He had also met with a third and had a pub bust-up with her boyfriend.

In autobiography A Bit of Me, Denise reveals the details of why she dumped Boxshall last year — and how she finally caught him out by turning detective and searching a deleted folder on his iPad.
Denise says: “There were Instagram messages alluding to phone sex with a woman. I quickly found the woman’s profile by her screen name only to discover I’d previously blocked her on my Instagram account — which struck me as odd.
“This was a woman who I didn’t know, who’d clearly had an online connection with my boyfriend. Why had I blocked her?
“Straight away I unblocked her and sent her a message asking how she knew Eddie. ‘Oh, you’ve unblocked me then,’ came the fast reply. ‘I don’t even know you, why would I block you?’
“She suggested that Eddie had probably gone into my phone and blocked her so she couldn’t message me.
“Her name was Tracy and she had apparently spoken to Eddie over FaceTime and text for a long period — often from our home and sometimes from my flat in Hampstead.
“They’d never met in person, but she said the conversations had become sexual reasonably quickly. Some of the stuff I found on the phone seemed to support that.
“However she was upset with Eddie by then, because he had apparently ghosted her. ‘I hope you’re not angry with me,’ she wrote. ‘I’m not a homewrecker’.
“I didn’t want to rant at her but I couldn’t believe she thought this was acceptable.

“She was a similar age to me, with a child of her own, and in my book sexual chats on FaceTime and text and continued communication over a long period amount to cheating.
“It was disrespectful and devastatingly hurtful.”
