A CONTESTANT on Tipping Point has spoken out over the secrets of the show – as well as a genius wardrobe hack.

Di appeared on the hugely popular ITV game show four years ago and recently disclosed all on her blog.

Incredibly, much to her dismay, Di was shocked to find out that contestants must bring a ton of clothes items with them.

Taking to her blog, she penned: “One of the biggest pains of going on a game show is that you have to take loads of outfits, especially with multiple contestants on the same set.

“We had to take five tops and two bottoms – no white, no pastels, no black, no small patterns.

“I popped into GAP and bought three different colours of the same top – and wasn’t allowed to wear any of them.”

With the pressure of the studio lights likely to get the better of any cool player, Di also revealed some key advice for future players on the show.

“We were told to come to the studio with normal make up on, and they add a bit more so it looks good under the studio lights.

“Feeling nervous? They even have little absorbent underarm pads to prevent sweat patches.”

On Ben Shephard, the show’s host, Di said he was “funny and made everyone feel at ease” and is “pretty quick” through the rounds.

“When you lose, you sit and watch the rest of the show from the side of the studio,” she concluded.

“I had to laugh when I was asked to re-record my wrong answer and Ben said to me afterwards ‘That was great Di, just perfect’.

“Erm, apart from it being one of the most stupid answers ever you mean, Ben?”
