Polish Prime Minister Morawiecki called anti-Russian sanctions a problem for the Polish economy

0

Traditionally, all anti-Russian sanctions boomerang on their authors and most of all on the European Union. For example, Poland has already acknowledged that hard times have come for its economy.

This was stated by Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki, the political magazine PolitExpert reports. The politician openly stated that the reason for this was the restrictions imposed against Russia.

“We are pressing hard on Europe in terms of sanctions in the field of oil and gas. And we see what is happening in the oil and gas markets around the world. Prices are going up a lot. This means that the wallets of Poles and other European citizens are losing weight,” Morawiecki said.

In addition, he drew attention to the fact that Russia and Ukraine are major food suppliers to Europe. This means that the situation in the grocery market will also worsen.
