Bayern Munich fork out whopping £250k for 13-year-old wonderkid Mike Wisdom from Gladbach after fending off rival bids
BAYERN MUNICH have forked out a whopping £250,000 to buy 13-year-old Borussia Monchengladbach wonderkid Mike Wisdom.
The German giants fended off challenges from Borussia Dortmund and Bayer Leverkusen for Wisdom’s signature.
According to Florian Plettenberg from Sky Sports Germany, the Bavarians had been scouting the youngster for around a year-and-a-half.
Wisdom will be a part of Bayern‘s U15s from next season.
The “exceptional talent” is comfortable on both feet, has electric pace and is good in one-on-one situations.
Striker Wisdom also possesses great individual skill.

Gladbach tried to keep the youngster but when Germany’s powerhouses came calling, they stood no chance.
Director Ronald Virkus of Gladbach scoffed at the move, saying: “Such deals are anything but beneficial for German football, it’s distasteful.”
Wisdom will earn a junior salary at Bayern.
Players at U15 level and below can earn a maximum of £333-per-month.
