Summer House: Andrea Denver Says He & His New Girlfriend Are 'Serious'
Summer House's Andrea Denver opened up about his current relationship with his new girlfriend and how he won her back after initially failing to commit. Andrea was first introduced when he appeared in Winter House and went on to join the cast for the most current season of Summer House. Although Andrea was caught up in a love triangle during the season, he has since moved on with his new girlfriend.
Andrea initially expressed interest in castmate Paige DeSorbo, and the two enjoyed a flirtation while spending time in the winter house. Things quickly heated up between the two, and they often found themselves together, spending more and more time together and getting to know each other better. The relationship wasn't able to get off the ground, however, as Paige had reservations about how serious Andrea was about her and had her head turned by Craig Conover. Ultimately, Paige ditched Andrea in favor of Craig, and the two are now dating, much to Andrea's dismay. Some fans were equally upset, as they felt Paige had more chemistry with Andrea, but the reality star followed her heart and it led her to Craig.
Andrea bounced back quickly from the rejection, however, and met a new love interest right after Winter House wrapped. In an interview with E! News, Andrea shared more about his current love and says that his relationship with his new girlfriend is getting very serious. "We met out in New York City," he shared, "We started spending a lot of time together, never putting a title to our relationship, but definitely spending a lot of time maturing feelings and hanging around." Although the two became close, Andrea was hesitant to commit and put the relationship on pause when he returned to the summer house. "The thing is like I wasn't ready [to commit]," he explained. The two didn't stay in touch while he was filming, and the pair didn't end things on great terms. For Andrea, distance made the heart grow fonder, and he found himself missing his other half more and more.
The Italian model used his good looks and charm to win his now girlfriend back, however. "I realized my feelings were strong and I didn't want to hide those feelings anymore," he said. "After like three weeks that we started seeing each other, she wanted to come to Italy to celebrate Christmas with my family. That was a big step. It was really exciting and we ended up having the best time." From there, the couple only grew closer and has been enjoying spending time together. He went on to give an update on his current status, adding, "I think that trip really made us understand that we were made for each other and everything's been great since then. I've been really happy."
Meanwhile, Paige has also moved on with her beau, as viewers have watched her and Craig's love story unfold in the current season of Summer House. Although Andrea initially had his ego bruised by Paige's rejection, he has bounced back and is happier than ever with his new love. Andrea has plans to take his girlfriend and her father back to Italy for a vacation, indicating that the two are in it for the long haul.
