Former President Donald Trump on Thursday filed a lawsuit alleging Hillary Clinton and the Democratic National Committee tried to rig the 2016 presidential election. The lawsuit alleges that Clinton and the DNC fabricated a link between the Trump campaign and Russia, triggering an "unfounded federal investigation" and a "media frenzy," CNN reports. A bipartisan Senate intelligence report concluded in August 2020, meanwhile, that Russia meddled on Trump's behalf during the 2016 campaign.
