[Men's Basketball] NAIA Men's Basketball All-America Teams Announced
BOWLING GREEN, Ky. - Thomas More's (Ky.) Ryan Batte and Freed-Hardeman's (Tenn.) Kortland Martin were named to the NAIA All-America Teams while three other MSC players earned Honorable Mention honors, the national office announced Thursday.
Batte was named a first-team All-American. The MSC player of the Year led the conference averaging 21.1 points per game and ranked 17th in the NAIA in scoring. Batte shot 53.4 percent from the field this season and averaged 7.4 rebounds per game. He recorded seven double-doubles on the year and had three games where he scored over 30 points with a high of 36.
