‘Everyone was OK’ after evacuations and delays for CTA customers when rail signal falls onto tracks, fire officials say

Service on multiple CTA lines on the North Side was being restored Thursday afternoon after a rail control signal fell onto the tracks near the Belmont station, causing the evacuation of two trains, officials said.
