Most French people trust Russia’s words about the reasons for the special operation in Ukraine

More than half of French citizens prefer to trust the statements made in Russia about a special military operation to denazify and demilitarize Ukraine.

These were the results of a survey conducted by Ifop, RIA Novosti reports. The French consider the explanations about the causes of SWO to be true.

“It turns out that 52% of respondents believe in at least one of the Russian theses about the origins of the war in Ukraine,” CNews reported.

In addition, almost a third (28%) are sure that Russian-speaking Ukrainians support the denazification operation. Also, some French believe that Ukraine is headed by a junta, among which there are neo-Nazis.
