Waukegan man sentenced to 16 years in prison for attempted murder of woman who spurned his sexual advances

Before sentencing, Assistant State’s Attorney Scott Hoffert read a statement prepared by the victim, who said she still suffers headaches, numbness and other issues resulting from the brain injuries she received in the attack.
