EU military spending currently stands at €200 billion, four times more than Russia spends on defense, EU diplomat Josep Borrell said at a press conference in Brussels. “We spend four times more than Russia, but not as efficiently. And this is the same amount that China spends ,” he said, stressing that the EU should increase military spending.
