Mystery over missing girl Betty Taylor, 12, as her family reveals she had several secret social media accounts
THE family of missing 12-year-old Betty Taylor has revealed she had several secret social media accounts as the search for the girl continues.
Taylor was reported missing in Safford, Arizona on March 20.
Taylor moved in with her father last summer, her mother, Bonnie Jones, told ABC15.
And while she was reportedly pleased with the living arrangement, Jones says the girl was not thrilled about attending school.
“She hated school so much that she was getting physically sick because going to school stressed her out so much,” Jones told ABC15.
Jones also said Taylor had secret social media accounts and was connecting with strangers.

“And she had promised over and over again that she would get rid of them, and I checked her most recent Facebook, and she has her friends hidden, except for the mutual friends,” Jones said.
However, hundreds of people are now assisting with the search to find Taylor.
James and Rachael Shotts have taken the lead in helping to bring Taylor home.
“We just felt compelled that we just wanted to help, and this community is very well known for banding together and helping each other in times of need,” Rachael told ABC15.

The girl allegedly told her family she was going out for a walk. But she has not returned home.
She was last seen near Swift Trail Junction, according to reports.
Taylor left with a backpack and several water bottles, her family says.
The girl is 5’5″ with shoulder-length brown hair that has red highlights.
The Graham County Sheriff’s Office said Taylor was wearing a black sweatshirt with white letters, a neon-colored baseball hat, jeans, and pink and blue Vans shoes at the time of her disappearance.
“I just want to bring you home,” Jones said to ABC15.
