Telstra names new CEO
Telstra has appointed Vicki Brady as its new CEO today, replacing Andrew Penn, who announced his retirement from the company after seven years in the position.
Brady joined the company in 2016 and has worked in a range of roles across finance, commercial and strategy before moving to leadership positions. She is also the company’s CFO and the group executive responsible for strategy. She starts her new role on September 1.
John Mullen, Telstra chairman, added that Penn developed a strong team to ensure the ongoing successful leadership of the company and has significantly helped deliver on commitments despite the challenges of the pandemic.
