BJ's Wholesale launches Same-Day Select service, allowing for unlimited grocery deliveries for an upfront fee
BJ's Wholesale Club Holdings Inc. announced Wednesday the launch Same-Day Select service, a add-on service for the membership-based warehouse retailer's Same-Day Delivery service. For minimum orders of $60, the Same-Day Select Unlimited service, a $100 add-on, is for unlimited same-day grocery deliveries, while the Same-Day Select Multipack service will cost $55 for 12 free deliveries in a one-year period. The service is being launched across all BJ's Wholesale stores. The launch comes after BJ's announced on Monday a partnership with delivery app DoorDash Inc. on grocery deliveries. BJ's Wholesale's stock, which was still inactive in premarket trading, has gained 1.3% year to date, while the S&P 500 has slipped 2.8%.
