It’s Very Simple – PSV Legend Puts Price Tag On Arsenal And Liverpool Target

The 22-year-old winger PSV winger is being tipped for big things and is expected to move on from the Dutch club in the summer.

Arsenal are pushing to land him and have identified the winger as one of their top targets for the transfer window, but he also has suitors in Liverpool and Bayern Munich as well.

Van de Kerkhof stressed that it is important that Gakpo’s injury record is good as wherever he moves, the winger needs to continue to play regular football.

He believes a move to England would suit him, but the Dutchman also feels Gakpo can succeed at Bayern Munich.

The PSV legend told Dutch outlet Voetbal Primeur: “Gakpo has hit the ceiling at PSV, but he has also not been injured with the Netherlands squad.

“As I said, top players should play as much football as possible because then they can show their qualities.

“I think Gakpo can certainly succeed in England, but I also find Bayern a good club for him.”

“He thinks so too, I think.”

He indicated that Gakpo would not come cheap and insisted that he should be worth around €50m.

Asked how much Gakpo is worth, he said: “That’s very simple, €50m.

“He is definitely worth it.”

Gakpo has scored 16 times and registered 15 assists in all competitions from PSV this season and it remains to be seen if either Arsenal or Liverpool will take him to the Premier League in the summer.
