I booked a tattoo session with my mom’s ex without knowing – the tattoo is so ugly I think he did it as PAYBACK
SOMETIMES tattoos just come out plain awful, but usually, it’s a mistake.
Unfortunately for one woman, she said she thinks her ugly tattoo came to be as revenge on her mom.
A tattooed woman is convinced her ink was botched on purpose[/caption] The above tattoo is what she wanted[/caption]Sara Maeve, the woman who thinks her tattoo was an act of revenge, shared her story in a video posted online.
The footage in the video showed a shocked-looking Maeve with text over her face that read: “Guys, when I was 16 years old I (unknowingly) booked a tattoo with one of my mom’s exes … I swear to this day he did it to me on purpose.”
She next shared an image of the inspiration tattoo, which was a chic black drawing of a bloomed lotus flower.
Then, Maeve showed viewers the artwork she actually received, and it looks nothing like what she wanted.

Her tattoo was colored in blue and purple and seemed to have a pink glow around it.
Furthermore, it did not have elegant lines outlining it, but looked like it had been done with a child’s washable marker.
Similarly, another person revealed her simple tattoo was botched because it looked like a toddler drew it.
Maeve’s theory was supported by the dozens of people who commented under the video and agreed that it looked awful.

“Definitely on purpose I’m so sorry,” one person wrote.
“I thought the first one was the tattoo I was like ‘this is so cute what’s wrong’ then the second photo hit me like a jumpscare,” another horrified user added.
A third viewer compared it to a Bloomin’ Onion from Outback Steakhouse.

“He did do it on purpose, good thing is colored cause you can tattoo over it,” another commented.
Maeve said she’s looking for a tattoo artist to cover it up.
