Paddington House
Paddington House is a minimal residence located in Paddington, Australia, designed by Retallack Thompson. The project sought to transform an existing two-bedroom residence into a three-bedroom house. A recent extension incongruous with the original building resulted in constraints that prompted a reconfiguration of the internal programs. One solution was to move what was previously a hallway space to the master bedroom, and convert that into the main staircase. The adjustment allowed for the addition of an ensuite bathroom.
