A district court on Wednesday convicted gangster Bannanje Raja and 12 others under the Karnataka Control of Organised Crime Act (KCOCA) for killing Ankola-based businessman and BJP functionary, R N Nayak. Nayak was shot dead on December 21, 2013, near Radhakrishna Complex in Ankola.
