[Women's Outdoor Track & Field] Johnson Earns GPAC Track Athlete of Week Award

SIOUX CITY, Iowa – The Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) has announced this week's women's outdoor track & field athletes-of-the-week for events held March 21-27, 2022. Midland University's Myia Johnson was named the GPAC Track Athlete of the Week.

Johnson, a sophomore, from Fremont, Nebraska, competed in the 3000m steeplechase for the first time ever at the Wildcat Classic. She covered the course in 12:22.61, good for third place. Her time was the fastest time in the program's history in the event.
