Simone Ashley Reveals If Kate Will Return For Season Three Of 'Bridgerton'

Simone Ashley stuns in a chic white ensemble during the Bridgerton Dinner celebrating South Asian culture held at Arth Bar & Kitchen on Tuesday night (March 29) in Culver City, Calif.

The 27-year-old Bridgerton actress was joined at the event by many South Asian stars including Kal Penn, Ritesh Rajan, Sophia Ali, Liza Koshy, Sujata Day, Maitreyi Ramakrishnan, Lilly Singh, Richa Moorjani, and many more.

During the dinner, Simone opened up about whether her character Kate would return for season three.

“We’re going to be back! Kate and Anthony are just getting started,” she told Deadline.

Simone revealed that Jess Brownell “is taking the lead as showrunner in Season 3. In Season 2, there was a lot of push and pull between Kate and Anthony, there were complications with the family, and then they find each other towards the end. I think everything is just starting.”

As for the path she’d like for Kate in the forthcoming season, Simone said that she’d “like to see Kate just let go a bit more and play more in Season 3 and kind of swim in that circle of love together. I think they both deserve it.”
