WILMSLOW PHOENIX SPORTS CLUB 

NOTICE OF ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING

 Monday 23rd May 2022, 7-30 pm in the clubhouse.

All members of Wilmslow Hockey Club and Wilmslow Lacrosse Club are also members of Wilmslow Phoenix Sports Club (WPSC).  WPSC is responsible for the day-to-day running and upkeep of the grounds, clubhouse and bar, and for making the improvements around the site that make playing sport at Oakwood Farm such a pleasure.  

This notice is to invite you to the AGM of WPSC - your Club - on Monday 23rd May 2022 at 7:30pm to hear what has been happening in this year of transition back to playing sport and to socialising, whilst dodging Omicron and recovering from the difficulties posed by the Covid pandemic.  A quorum of 30% of all senior members is required for a properly convened Annual General Meeting.

The WPSC Council - the name for the committee of WPSC - is made up of members of both Hockey and Lacrosse, and the Council runs the Club for the benefit of all members.  All positions are filled by current members of the Sections, and we are always looking for new (younger!) faces and fresh ideas to help the existing members to carry the baton into the next year and beyond.  Please consider whether you could offer your skills, services or time to help run your Club, and please make every effort to attend the meeting to support those members who work for your benefit throughout the year.

The AGM agenda will be published ahead of the meeting: if there is anything you would like to raise at the meeting, please let the WPSC Hon. Secretary, Penny Sparrow, know.
